What is Active on Referral?
Active on Referral scheme works with G.Ps and Health professionals in Gloucester with the aim of improving patients' health and well being by becoming physically more active.
Our Active on Referral team are all qualified to level 3 exercise on referral and above.
Working in conjunction with Macmillian Next Steps we are now taking referrals for clients who are in recovery. For further information call
Who is it for?
The scheme is for people aged 16 or over who are registered with a GP or health professional in Gloucester and are not currently active but would like to use physical activity to improve their health and wellbeing.
How much will it cost?
Option 1
£20 per month for a period of 3 months.
This membership is all inclusive.
Option 2
£10 active on referral health card.
This will off peak access charging £2.50 per activity.
Visit your G.P. or Health Professional to discuss your plans to become more active.
They can check your eligibility for the scheme and provide you with a signed referral form (please note this form must be delivered to GL1 Active on Referral Scheme before any sessions can begin).
