Review: Spy Gear Ultimate Ninja Night Vision Goggles

When he isn’t pretending to be a ninja and climbing, Cheeky Chap likes to pretend he is a spy. In fact, we keep misplacing his swimming goggles as he wears them declaring they give him night vision. So when Spin Master got in touch and asked if we would like to review their Spy Gear Ultimate Ninja Night Vision Goggles, I knew he would be in his element.

Spy Gear Ultimate Ninja Night Vision Goggles

In all honesty, I didn’t have huge expectations. I mean, just how much night vision can you get in a kid’s toy that retails for £29.99? It turns out it’s not bad at all actually!

The Spy Gear Night Vision Goggles have an adjustable head strap and a night vision range of up to 30 feet. The goggles themselves are soft and comfortable to wear leaving my little ninja able to do what he does best.

Our thoughts

When I asked Cheeky Chap what he thought of the goggles, he shouted “I LOVE THEM!”. He was excited that he no longer has to pretend to have night vision goggles. I honestly thought he might start bouncing off the walls he was that chuffed by them. They have made a superb addition to his toy box and have set his imagination alight.

I am pleased that his swimming goggles can now stay in our swimming bag. They seem quite sturdy yet comfortable and are easy to use. Aimed at age 6+ they require 3 AAA batteries which are not included.

Honestly, these could not have come at a better time. My wannabe ninja spy would now like more things from the Spy Gear range.

You can purchase the Spy Gear Ultimate Ninja Night Vision Goggles from Argos for £29.99.
