Project 365 Week 4

It has been a slightly busier week than previous weeks and some days I found it difficult to choose which photo to use. So here is my Project 365 Week 4!

Sunday afternoon saw us celebrating my birthday with my family. My awesome little sister made my birthday cake. I can confirm that it was as delicious as it looks.

Monday after school scooter ride home. We often drive to collect Cheeky Chap now but the husband was busy so I had to walk. Cheeky Chap never seems to concentrate on where he is going, he is so nosey.

Tuesday after school and Cheeky Chap got a parcel in the post. We had tried to get him the Paw Patrol Lookout for Christmas but it was impossible to find unless we were prepared to pay over double the RRP. We finally managed to track it down to a store in Cardiff. The Boy and Me very kindly went and got it for us then sent it to us. So Tuesday afternoon was spent exploring it.

Wednesday was this week’s main study day. Onto a unit called “Childhood: Families and relationships” which I really enjoyed reading and studying about. I suspect this will be one of my focus points in my next assignment.

Thursday and it was my second photography lesson. Today we ventured out of the class and down to College Green, into the Cathedral. We had now learned about aperture and shutter speed so we were trying(!) to understand how these work in practice. I experimented a fair bit and suspect it will take me a while to figure out how to get the best use out of my camera but the lessons are definitely helping!

Friday seemed to fly by in a whirl and yet I cannot for the life of me remember what I actually did. Just before finally climbing into bed a little before midnight, I remembered I hadn’t taken my photo. So I took this. I haven’t seen Cheeky Chap sleep like that for a little while and I like how he still has Ernie firmly tucked beside him.

On Saturday we decided to pay a visit to Westonbirt Arbeoretum to hunt for a Gruffalo.Β It was a lovely wintry afternoon which we all enjoyed.Β I had done my research and knew there were plenty of benches on the trail and was so pleased to be able to enjoy the walk as well; so often I have to miss out due to my mobility.

So that was our week in photos. How was yours? If you want to check out other contributions to Project 365, just hit the button below.
